We’re now a week or so into the gradual easing of the lock-down imposed by the Government in late March as a result of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. So far, we have a suggested date of the beginning of July for the reopening of some hospitality businesses, though this has yet to be formally confirmed by government.
We consider that we are able to comply with any constraints that will be imposed, including that concerning physical distancing, and so we are making the necessary arrangements to be able to welcome drinkers, diners and hotel guests from as early as Friday 3rd July.
Please note that in our restaurant we shall be operating with restricted hours, reduced capacity (in order to comply with physical distancing measures) and some changes to, for instance our restaurant menus and wine list. Tables in our restaurant will need to be pre-booked using our website or by calling us on 01433 621562 and hotel accommodation will similarly need to be booked direct using our website or by telephone as accommodation will no longer be offered via third party booking portals such as Booking.com. You may view more details about our revised operating procedures, designed to ensure the safety of our customers and staff here.
Our precise restaurant opening times will be dependant upon demand which, at the moment is uncertain. So, while it is likely that our restaurant will be open on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday at lunch, we will open at other evenings should there be sufficient demand.
