We’ve been mulling over the government’s announcement that it is going to relax all Covid security measures as of 19th of this month, and it’s with very mixed feelings. Everyone yearns for life to return to normal, but rapidly rising infection rates across the country, thankfully with vastly reduced serious consequences, are a cause for concern. We have operated successfully under the current Covid security regime, requiring social distancing, table service, etc. since re-opening in mid-May and we believe that our customers have felt more relaxed in dining and staying with us as a result. Therefore, we are minded to leave many of the Covid secure measures that we currently employ in place after the 19th, at least for the immediate future and while infection rates continue to rise. We would welcome your thoughts on this matter, especially those of customers who have supported us and whom we’ve been proud to serve over the periods in which we have been able to be open during the near 18 months of this Covid pandemic. The safety and wellbeing of you, our customers are paramount, and we would not wish to make changes that make you feel less comfortable and secure while visiting us. We’d welcome your comments and suggestions. Please let us know what you think.
