GOVERNMENT ROADMAP SHOWSWE ARE ON COURSE TO REOPEN ON WEDNESDAY 19th MAY

According to the Government's road map for the incremental reopening of the economy, the hospitality sector should be able to reopen for indoor service from 17th May. We shall welcome your bookings for accommodation and/or table reservations from Wednesday 19th. See, also our news page.

New Year greetings, hope springs eternal!

What a way to see in the New Year. Moving from tier three into tier four. So, we remain closed and it’s looking awfully like we’re likely to remain so for some weeks to come. We’ve fingers crossed for managing Valentine’s weekend in mid-February, but probably with more hope than judgement! Despite the general doom and gloom, we now have at least three Covid vaccines approved and the mass vaccination programme is ramping up. Maybe we can all look forward to a lovely spring, free of lockdown and able to meet a few friends and relatives and, please do put staying and/or dining at the Samuel Fox high on your list of things to do. We’ve been closed for a full five months in 2020 and still no prospect of reopening. The coffers are bare indeed!
