Following our confident statement only yesterday that we would be reopening next Thursday, we were shocked to learn earlier today that the Peak District, along with the remainder of Derbyshire and surrounding areas of Sheffield, south Yorkshire and Greater Manchester are to be placed in tier three when the national lockdown ends next week. This is nothing short of a disaster, following over four months trading lost already this year and now a further indefinite period of closure. As of now we have no idea if and when we will come out of the tier three constraints, meaning that we cannot operate as a restaurant or hotel.and, therefore must remain closed for the forseeable future. With the national relaxation in rules over the Christmas period, from December 23rd until December 27th we shall, at least be able to welcome guests who have booked a three day Christmas break with us. More than that remains uncertain at this time.
